Mid-Construction Blower Door Test

This test is completed during construction before finishes are installed, allowing air leakage issues to be corrected while the air barrier remains accessible.

How We Perform the Work:
We test the building once the air barrier is substantially complete. Leakage locations are reviewed so the builder can complete targeted air sealing before drywall or final finishes.

Scope of Work Includes:

• Mid-construction site visit.
• Blower door setup and air leakage measurement.
• Leakage review using smoke, infrared, or air movement indicators, where appropriate.
• Identification of leakage at penetrations, rim joists, attic interfaces, windows, doors, and mechanical openings.
• On-site guidance for corrective action.
• Summary of findings for the project team.
