Water Ingress Investigation

Add to Quote

This service provides a more detailed water ingress investigation where interior/exterior coordination, controlled testing, or more complex diagnostics are required.

How We Perform the Work: One technician may observe interior conditions while the second performs exterior review or controlled water application. This allows water movement to be traced more effectively. Scope of Work Includes:

  • Coordinated interior and exterior investigation.
  • Visual review of building envelope components.
  • Controlled water testing, where appropriate.
  • Moisture verification testing, where applicable.
  • Identification of probable water entry paths.
  • Photo documentation and written summary of findings.
  • Recommendations for repair, monitoring, or further investigation.

* Our testing procedure requires a two-person team. Please note that these tests require above-freezing temperatures and dry conditions. A minimum of three hours without rain prior to the water test is essential, although a longer dry period is recommended for optimal results. Should the height that our technicians need to reach exceed 10 ft, the use of Scaffolding, Aerial, or Scissor lifts will be necessary. Please note that our technicians are certified to operate Aerial & Scissor lifts. Important: The arrangement for the supply and delivery of the Scaffolding, Aerial, or Scissor lifts is the responsibility of the client.
